There's a 3-day cannabis celebration at Yonge-Dundas Square this week

Oct 10 2018, 12:24 am

The federal legalization of cannabis is just over a week away and Up Cannabis, an Ontario-based licensed producer, is celebrating with a free, three-day event at Yonge-Dundas Square.

The festivities begin today and will run until October 11. Highlights include a performance by Choir!Choir!Choir! on Thursday at 8pm, with a special tribute to Gord Downie featuring Tragically Hip band members Rob Baker and Johnny Fay.

There will also be an installation called the “UPside Down House” which encourages a new perspective on cannabis.
