Lunchtime Yoga at Sony Centre

What: Come and work up a sweat while you spend your lunch hour stretching, twisting, breathing at a free yoga class at the Sony Centre this month. Classes run Tuesday and Thursday.

Banged-Up Comedy

What: You’re invited to celebrate the new year with Banged-Up Comedy’s first show of 2019 in Duffy’s basement this evening. Each comic will be performing their set PLUS revealing their deeply personal New Year’s resolutions and guests will vote on how attainable they are.

Bowie’s Birthday: Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars

What: If you want to celebrate Bowie in a more laid-back setting, Toronto’s Revue Cinema is screening one of the best concert films ever made: Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. The film showcases Bowie’s final electrifying performance as Ziggy Stardust in 1973 at London’s Hammersmith Odeon Theater and was captured by legendary director DA Pennebake.
