Cioccolato’s
What: There’s a pop-up pizzeria coming to Toronto this weekend, but rather than serving up cheesy pies, this new place deals exclusively in dessert! The promo from the Dr. Oetker brand is already advertising its impending arrival on Queen West for a full week in February when it will dish out FREE chocolate pizza to the public.

Ice Breakers
What: Now in its second year, temporary winter art exhibit Ice Breakers is returning to Toronto’s waterfront. Organized by Winter Stations and The Waterfront Business Improvement Area (WBIA), Ice Breakers will provide the city with five temporary wintertime art installations that are 100% free to the public.

Toronto Light Fest
What: For the second year in a row, the historic Distillery District will be home to the Toronto Light Fest this winter. Designed to entertain and inspire, the free to attend light festival will feature curated light installations and illuminated sculptures created by a number of local and international artists.

Winter at Ontario Place
What: Ontario Place has welcomed a new free event: Winter at Ontario Place. The new festival features various winter-themed activities including the Winter Light Exhibition, skating on the new synthetic skating rink and film screenings at the newly re-opened Cinesphere.

Skating at the Natrel Skating Rink
What: When the weather starts to drop, it means it’s officially time to go skating. And it just so happens that the city’s most scenic rink has its doors open for the winter season. The Natrel Rink is complete with heated indoor change rooms and the rink-side Bistro Natrel for those interested in getting a snack post-skate. The best part? Skating at the Harbourfront rink is totally free.

20 Years of Harry Potter Cosplay Party
What: In honour of 20 years of Harry Potter, a massive cosplay party will be taking place where fans relive the magic, take a photo in a Hogwarts photobooth, meet Hagrid, Crookshanks and Scabber characters. The all-ages event will feature potion making stations, a magic show, and Harry Potter-themed drinks including Butterbeer- alcohol-free will also available.

Roundhouse Winter Craft Beer Fest
What: Get bundled up and enjoy this outdoor winter festival featuring great craft beers and delicious winter food. Make sure to wear your best retro ski gear!

Pickering’s Annual Butter Tart Festival
What: This full-day festival devoted to the iconic Ontario treat takes place just 45 minutes from downtown Toronto.

Valentine’s Day Flower Market
What: Come and celebrate your loved ones by picking up a custom arrangement of locally grown blooms. Here you’ll find a romantic floral colour palette and buckets full of ranunculus, anemone, tulips, orchids, snapdragons, anthurium and more.

Love at the Zoo
What: Looking for a wild way to spend Valentine’s Day in Toronto this year? The Toronto Zoo is hosting dinner date nights this month. This evening event promises special animal encounters, an interactive and informative presentation on mating and parenthood in the wild, a tour of Reproductive Laboratories, and an all-you-can-eat (AYCE) feast.

Awolnation – Here Come The Runts Tour
