Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool

What: Miles Davis was one of the greatest humans ever to blow a horn. Come see the documentary that celebrates the life of a man who was equal parts bandleader and force of nature. Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool unpacks the man behind the myth, diving into Davis’ upbringing, methodology, personal relationships, and demons to deliver a portrait of an artist who redefined American jazz.

Tycho: Weather World Tour

What: Come see Scott Hansen, better known as Tycho, and his band perform some seriously gorgeous, low tempo, synth-pop. Hansen mixes in heavy doses of vintage and futuristic sounds into his compositions, resulting in beautiful soundscapes and stunning live performances.

Dark Day Monday 18: (double) Date Night

What: Dark Day Monday is a curated monthly performance series featuring artists who defy expectations and break boundaries. Past performances have included everything from music to cabaret.

The Funhouse Toronto

What: The Funhouse is an immersive, experiential art maze, inspired by music and created in collaboration with some of Toronto’s most exciting artists.
