The Office! A Musical Parody
What: In case you’ve already re-watched The Office for the umpteenth time on Netflix, you’ll soon have the chance to see your favourite paper company employees live on for another day. This summer, the off-Broadway performance, The Office! A Musical Parody is heading to Toronto for a four-week run at Mirvish’s CAA Theatre.
When: July 30 to August 25

Serge Ibaka x Topik Wear Pop-Up
What: NBA Champion and Toronto Raptor, Serge Ibaka, has partnered with a Toronto Startup Underwear Brand Topik Wear and together they are hosting an exclusive Men’s Underwear launch this week. Serge Ibaka will be in attendance at the pop-up’s launch party on August 1 and will be discussing the Serge Ibaka Foundation and the vision of Topik Wear. The pop-up will also have fun activations, games, raffle giveaways, and more.
When: August 1 and 2
Time: Thursday, 6:30 pm to 10 pm (19+ event); Friday, 1 pm to 7 pm

Price: Private pop-up (August 1) $140, a portion of proceeds will be donated to the Serge Ibaka Foundation.
Caribana Weekend
What: Now in its 52nd year, Caribana weekend will take over Toronto this August for a massive, city-wide celebration featuring Caribbean music, dance, costume, parties, and food.
When: August 1 to 4

VELD
What: If you didn’t get enough of your electronic music fill at Dreams Festival (and are feeling particularly ambitious), you can make up for it in your costume-clad glory at the annual Veld Music Festival.

Rogers Cup
What: Toronto is the centre of the tennis world as the Rogers Cup returns for another exciting year of intense tennis matches.
When: August 3 to 11

OVO Fest 2019
What: Drake’s ninth OVO Fest is back and returning to the Budweiser Stage this summer. The festival takes place on August 4 and 5, with B2K, Chingy, Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, Mario, Pretty Ricky, and Bobby V scheduled for the first day. Day 2 just features Drake right now, but as always, OVO Fest is full of surprises, so that list of artists is bound to increase during the Fest.
