Free ROM Admission

What: On December 12, the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) will be officially reopening its heritage Weston Entrance on Queen’s Park to the public. To mark this accomplishment, the ROM is offering FREE general admission to all visitors throughout the day.

Ugly Christmas Sweater Cocktail Cruise

What: Wear your ugliest Christmas outfit and enjoy breathtaking views of Toronto’s Christmas tree skyline during Mariposa Cruise’s Ugly Christmas Sweater Cocktail Cruise. During the two hour cruise, you will have the chance to win the Ugly Christmas Sweater and Santa Costume contest for having the most hideous attire.

Hot Docs Free Holiday Movies

What: Come and get into the holiday spirit at a free screening of your favourite holiday movies! Hot Docs Cinema will be hosting free screenings of Elf, A Christmas Story, Love Actually, and more!

The Toronto Etsy Christmas Marketplace

What: Hosted by the Toronto Etsy street team, this festive marketplace will feature awesome handmade, vintage, and delicious wares all made by the team members. The marketplace will be free to attend, and everyone is welcome to come and shop local – including your four-legged friends.

DJ Skate Night

Toronto Vegan Holiday Market

What: Toronto’s Vegan Winter Market is back for its second year. The indoor marketplace showcases cruelty-free products is on in time for the holidays. This event offers a festive way to warm up with seasonal treats, shop an abundance of gift options from local vegan-friendly businesses, and stock up for holiday entertaining.
