On December 12, the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) will be officially reopening its heritage Weston Entrance on Queen’s Park to the public.

To mark this accomplishment, the ROM is offering FREE general admission to all visitors throughout the day.

The reopening of the Weston Entrance will give the public an additional point of entry into the museum while re-connecting the Museum to one of the most prominent street addresses in Canada, Queen’s Park.

The ROM had a record-breaking attendance rate over the past year, with over 1.35 million visitors visiting the museum. The additional entrance will allow the museum to welcome even more visitors from communities in Toronto, Canada, and around the world.

The ROM’s feature exhibitions VIKINGS: The Exhibition and Christian Dior will still be ticketed on December 12. However, visitors can view The Evidence Room at no charge.
