If having to trek up and down the stairs in your home seems like way too much work, then this Toronto house with a built-in elevator is probably right up your alley.

It also comes with several other high-end amenities to make you as comfortable as possible, including an in-home theatre, an outdoor pool with a cabana, and a gym. With all those perks comes a pretty hefty price tag of $$7,069,998.

The price, according to CEO of Roomvu.com Sam Mehrbod, is fair for this considering what the property has to offer.

“This property boasts almost 7000 sq ft of living space and was sold for $4.7M back in 2014, at $180K below its listing price back then,” Mehrbod said. “The new price is not unrealistic given that the average price in Toronto grew by 64% from 2014 to 2020. The property is a rare gem, with an elevator to all three floors, gym, outdoor kitchen and BBQ,  heated pool, jacuzzi, shower, and cabana.”

The home, located at 10 Vesta Drive in the Forest Hill South neighbourhood of Toronto, also has four bedrooms and a whopping eight bathrooms.

At the top of the staircase is a massive skylight, keeping the area airy and bright.

The gourmet kitchen has a huge island, a large dining area, and all of the appliances you could ever need, including a wine chiller.

You’ll find the gym in the basement, complete with a mirrored wall. There is also a home theatre that features a large projector screen and space for a big couch.

One of the most beautiful rooms in the house is the study, with wood-panelled walls and towering built-in bookcases. It would certainly make working from home an even better experience.

Of course, one of the coolest elements of this Toronto house is the elevator that looks like something out of a hotel. It goes to all three floors of the home so you can move things around — or simply just skip the stairs — with ease.

The home’s backyard is show-stopping, with a gorgeous pool, jacuzzi, and covered patio area.

Mehrbod says that with Toronto’s recently approved vacant home tax, housing experts believe “we will start to see more luxury homes listed for sale in the coming months.”

“Add that to the fact that at such a high price point, with recently announced Non‑Resident Speculation Tax (NRST) 15% tax for foreign buyers, it will be more difficult to find local buyers for luxury homes in Toronto,” Mehrbod said.
