Corn mazes are hands down one of the best things to do in the fall, and they’re popping up all over the GTA.
This October, get into the Halloween spirit by getting seriously lost (and scared) in some of the best corn mazes Ontario has to offer.
From family-friendly mazes to terrifying labyrinths only open after dark, here are the best corn mazes open near Toronto that you need to check out ASAP.

Hanes Corn Maze

This is easily one of the biggest corn mazes located near the city. Hanes Corn Maze is home to a massive, 25-acre maze that stands 10′ tall. This year’s maze features various checkpoints that help visitors solve a puzzle. During October, you can enjoy the maze at night, so don’t forget to bring a flashlight.
When: September hours, 10 am to 5 pm; October, 10 am to 9 pm

Fear Farm

For those interested in getting seriously spooked, Fear Farm is home to the Condemned Corn Maze, which features an evening maze full of twists and turns and plenty of gruesome sights. Once you’re done getting the living daylights scared out of you, you can check out the farm bakery and the beer garden.
When: Open select dates from September 27 to November 2 hours vary by weekend

Downey’s Farm Market

Located in Brampton, Downey’s corn maze is the perfect place to get lost. Twist and turn your way through 10 km of trails representing 26 years that Downey’s Farm Market has been in operation as you work to find various checkpoint stations. Downey’s maze takes roughly 45-minutes to complete and when you’re done you can pick out the perfect pumpkin.
When: Monday to Sunday, Farm Market 9 am to 5 pm; Play Area 10 am to 5 pm

Pingle’s Farm Market
For those near Oshawa, Pingle’s Farm Market is home to a sprawling eight-acre corn maze, that features a new theme each year. This year’s theme is ‘Farms are fun,’ so you’ll get the chance to get lost in a maze shaped like a tractor. This maze takes between 45 to 60 minutes to complete and costs $8 per person.
When: Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm; weekends and holidays, 9 am to 6 pm

Forsythe Family Farms
Located just over an hour from Toronto, you’ll find Forsythe Family Farms, which is home to a two-acre corn maze that’s perfect for the entire family. While you’re here, don’t forget to check out the rest of the fun including an adventure playground, farm animals, scavenger hunts, wagon rides, and an incredible pumpkin patch.
When: Weekdays 9:30 am to 5 pm till October 31 then weekends until December 24.

Cooper’s Farm

This fall, Cooper’s Farm designed its corn maze in honour of the Marvel universe legend Stan Lee. If you’re near Zephyr this October, we highly recommend paying the farm a visit, picking up the perfect Halloween pumpkin and getting lost in this giant, ten-acre maze.
When: Thursday to Friday, 10 am to 7 pm; Saturday and Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm

Reesor’s Farm Market
If you’re looking for a smaller, more kid-friendly maze, then head to Reesor’s Farm Market in Markham. Located near the pumpkin patch, this corn maze is only $3 per person or $10 per family to enter and provides all the space you need to get lost. The best part is all the proceeds are donated to the Canadian Food Grains Bank for their international development work.
When: Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 6:30 pm

Brooks Farms
Located just under an hour north of Toronto, Brook’s Farm is the perfect place to spend a fall day. Come and enjoy the 10-acre Barnyard Playland, that features rides, zip lines, farm animals, and a family-friendly corn maze.

Stonehaven Farm Market

This Burlington farm has been around for a century and has visitors coming back year after year. Each fall, Stonehaven hosts a gigantic corn maze with a new design as well as smaller straw mazes, wagon rides, and straw piles for the little ones. Admission is $6.
When: Saturday and Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm

Lindley’s Farm & Market
Lindley’s Farm
Lindley’s Farm & Market boasts a four-acre corn maze, that features a mile and a half of winding trails and prizes for guests who solve the maze’s puzzle. For those afraid of getting lost, the maze has emergency exits if you need a quick escape. When you’ve completed the maze, you can check out the wagon and pony rides, zip-line, and the pumpkin patch.
When: Saturday and Sunday (and holidays), 10 am to 4 pm

Knox’s Pumpkin Farm
Knox’s Pumpkin Farm has been around for more than 150 years and is home to not only an incredible pumpkin patch but also a family-friendly corn maze. When you’re finished getting lost, make sure to go for a wagon ride, check out the petting zoo, and hunt for your perfect Jack-o-Lantern.

Norwhich Optimist Club Haunted Corn Maze

If you don’t mind a bit of a drive, you’ll find a haunted maze that’s been designed to scare in Norwich, which is just over 1.5 hours from Toronto. Tour through the paths of the maze by the light of the moon and see if you can avoid screaming when you meet some of the farm’s spooky characters and special effects hidden in the maze.
