Comicon took over Toronto this weekend (PHOTOS)

If you happened to be near Toronto’s waterfront over the weekend, you may have noticed an unusual number of costume-clad revelers.

From Friday to Sunday, Comicon took over the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, giving anime, comic book, horror, fantasy, and superhero fans a space to show support for their favourite characters.

This year’s event featured celebrity panels, autograph sessions, over 400 exhibitors, photo-ops, an artist alley, and of course, plenty of costumed fun.

From Star Wars and Marvel to DC Comics and Disney, Torontonians arrived decked out, ready to show off their crazed inner fan.
