With the start of spring days away, it can only mean one thing: Canada’s Wonderland will be open soon.

And this year you can expect two new rides and an expanded play and splash area, making the park a must-visit spot for thrill seekers of all ages.

Flying Canoes, Canada’s Wonderland

New this season is Flying Canoes, an interactive family ride that will allow riders to control their journey of flight in two-person canoes.

Lumberjack, Canada’s Wonderland

For those looking for more of an adrenaline rush, the Lumberjack will take guests for a thrilling ride on two swinging axe pendulums, propelling them into the sky with their feet dangling through 360-degree loops. With inversions reaching up to 75 feet (22m) high, Lumberjack will give riders the sensation of an inverted coaster loop.

Splash Island Expansion, Canada’s Wonderland

The little ones can enjoy the expanded Splash Island’s children’s pool in Splash Works, which will be expanded to double its current size and will feature all-new interactive spray features.

These new attractions follow the addition of the 60-foot waterslide complex, Muskoka Plunge, that opened last summer.
