Fresh off a World Series appearance, the Toronto Blue Jays could have some internal pieces to try and help them win it all in 2026.
Fans already saw what a massive impact 22-year-old Trey Yesavage had late in the season and into the playoffs, making this list of prospects all the more exciting.
Here is a look at six Blue Jays prospects who are expected to make their debut with the club at some point during the 2026 season.
Ricky Tiedemann
- Age: 23
- Position: SP
- Prospect Ranking: 4
Once viewed as the top prospect in the Blue Jays organization, Ricky Tiedemann has fallen slightly. The 23-year-old didn’t pitch at all in 2025 due to Tommy John surgery but was recently selected to the Jays’ 40-man roster. By doing so, they have protected him from being selected in December’s Rule 5 Draft.
The key for Tiedemann in 2026 will be to stay healthy. He was limited to just eight starts in 2024 before undergoing surgery, where he posted a combined 5.19 ERA between Toronto’s complex league team, low-A Dunedin, and Triple-A Buffalo.
Yohendrick Pinango
- Age: 23
- Position: OF
- Prospect Ranking: 7
Another prospect for Blue Jays fans to keep an eye out for is Yohendrick Pinango. Acquired from the Chicago Cubs in the Nate Pearson trade during the 2024 season, the 23-year-old is set to have great bat speed that helps him put balls in play. In 84 games with Triple-A Buffalo this past season, he hit .235 with seven home runs and 47 RBI.
RJ Schreck
- Age: 25
- Position: OF
- Prospect Ranking: 10
The Blue Jays acquired RJ Schreck from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for Justin Turner during the 2024 season. Since then, his stock has risen to the point where he’s one of the top position player prospects in the Jays organization. He hit .242 with nine home runs and 33 RBI in 58 games with Triple-A Buffalo this past season.
Josh Kasevich
- Age: 24
- Position: SS
- Prospect Ranking: 12
Josh Kasevich has been a member of the Blue Jays since being selected 60th overall in the 2022 draft. After a strong 2024 season, logging only 160 plate appearances combined between several leagues.
Kasevich continues to remain an intriguing piece for the Blue Jays, though he could wind up being scooped up in the Rule 5 Draft, as he wasn’t added to the 40-man roster. If he doesn’t get selected, he could wind up seeing some time with the Jays in 2026, should he remain healthy.
Charles McAdoo
- Age: 23
- Position: 3B/1B
- Prospect Ranking: 15
There was quite a bit of intrigue from fans when the Blue Jays acquired Charles McAdoo from the Pittsburgh Pirates, and for good reason. The 23-year-old has good power behind the plate and has a strong arm. That said, there are still some concerns about his overall hitting, as he slashed just .247 through 494 plate appearances in Double-A ball in 2025.
Adam Macko
- Age: 24
- Position: SP
- Prospect Ranking: 22
Adam Macko was a potential candidate to be called up late in 2025, but wound up remaining with Triple-A Buffalo. The Blue Jays acquired the 24-year-old from the Seattle Mariners in the Teoscar Hernandez trade.
Macko spent the vast majority of 2025 in Triple-A. He made 10 starts and appeared in 18 games for a combined 64 innings. Over that span, he posted a 5.06 ERA while punching out 65. Should he see time with the Jays in 2026, it will likely come as a reliever.
