
A Monday night shooting in Toronto’s Annex neighbourhood has left one man in serious condition.
Officers were called to the area of Madison and Bernard Avenue around 9:30 pm after multiple gunshots were heard.

When officers arrived on the scene, a victim was located with serious upper body injuries, before he was sent to a nearby hospital.
Police say a pedestrian was struck in the same area, possibly by the vehicle that was seen fleeing the area.
Shortly after, police located an abandoned vehicle in a nearby location, where a firearm was recovered.
After 10:30 pm, a male suspect was arrested and after 1 am, a female suspect was also taken into police custody.
Currently, no charges have been laid and the police investigation continues.
