Toronto’s biggest contemporary art party is taking over the AGO this week

Apr 17 2018, 3:20 am

Clear your schedules, AGO Massive returns to Toronto this Thursday, April 19.

Now in its 14th year, this massive contemporary art party will transform the art gallery into an epic maze filled with immersive performances and installations from the city’s most promising creators and DJs.

Inspired by the theme “illusion,” this year’s party will feature a number of larger-than-life installations and performances that were created to astound, mystify and hypnotize.

Upon arrival, guests can sip on a magically-crafted and illusion-inspired cocktails from Spirit of York as they hit the dance floor or wind their way through the various exhibit halls.

And most importantly, don’t forget to dress to impress as party attire is taken seriously at AGO Massive.

This year, partygoers are encouraged to “dress to excess,” meaning arrive wearing hallucinatory patterns, otherworldly creations, reflective surfaces, and fashion that defies expectations.

Tickets are still available and can be purchased online through the AGO.
