Toronto just got a food passport offering access to cheap eats
Toronto is home to a world of wonderful eats. So much so that foodies would probably benefit from having a passport on hand, to track their travels.
So it is written, so it is done.
Toronto’s Finest has launched a food passport, offering the opportunity to mark down your restaurant visits and pick up discounts along the way.
Called #FoodPassportTO, these little slips are your golden tickets to cheap eats — we’re talking $5 each — at some of the city’s most noteworthy spots.

From a $5 Margherita pie at Blondies Pizza to a $5 vegan burger from Planta Burger, each stop offers something delicious at an amazing price.
In some cases, passport-holders can even score off-menu eats that are madeĀ specifically for the food crawl. Take the footlong hot dog at Cabanos Comfort Food, for instance.
All you need to do is enter the passport-friendly establishment, flash your card, and you’ll be charged five bucks for your item of choice.
The full list of participating restaurants and their menu options is available for viewing here.
Passports go for $15, and can be purchased directly from the Toronto’s FinestĀ website.
Each one is valid until December 22, which means you can spend the city’s first cold month tucking into all the comfort food you can handle.
