Thick Cut Brunch has built a following of brunch enthusiasts throughout Toronto and now Scarborough is about to get a taste.

Formerly the weekend draw at The Depanneur and House of Commons, the nomadic brunch service, helmed by Brad Kurtenbach, is moving into the kitchen at The Kingston Social as of February 4.

East-siders should look forward to a mix and match menu featuring scratch-made favourites. Diners can construct their own perfect morning meal from options like potato hash, sausage patties, duck eggs, house-baked sourdough, grits, and of course, the signature slabs of ultra-thick sliced bacon.

A new kitchen for Kurtenbach also means new possibilities. Fresh baked goods, poached eggs, house-smoked fish, and hollandaise-smothered dishes should be expected.
