Japanese cheesecake meets Kürtőskalács (spit-cooked Hungarian chimney cones) for one day only in Toronto this weekend.
The two desserts will form the ultimate mash-up this Sunday when Eva’s Original Chimneys and Uncle Tetsu joins forces for a collaboration that wraps up their month-long stint at Yorkdale’s CONCEPT pop-up space.
Dubbed the Uncle Tetsu Japanese Cheesecake Chimney Cone, this limited edition dessert sees two slices of cheesecake layered with soft serve ice cream and raspberry coulis all nestled into a freshly baked graham chimney cone.
Only 15 Tetsu Cones will available at a time, every hour on the hour from 11 am to 6 pm.
Considering the lineups that each of these dessert-makers are known to attract individually, this collaboration will likely incite an all-out frenzy.
