A 13-year-old boy is in police custody after he allegedly crashed a family member’s SUV into a fuel truck and a GO bus early Tuesday morning.
Just before 5 am, emergency crews responded to a call for a collision at Dufferin Street at Finch Avenue West.
Police said a 13-year-old boy was driving an SUV, which belonged to his family member, southbound on Dufferin at a high speed when it struck a fuel truck at the intersection.
A GO Transit bus was also struck as a result of the initial collision.

Another 13-year-old, who was a passenger in the SUV, was rushed to hospital with serious injuries, according to police.
Police said there were no other injuries reported as a result of the collision.
The teen driver is now in custody, and it is not yet known what charges he will face.
Authorities said the intersection will remain closed “for some time” while police gather evidence.
TTC service in the area is also diverting at this time.
