Toronto's first Taste of Jane and Finch festival debuts this month
There’s no shortage of street festivals in Toronto and starting this fall, there’s one more.
Toronto’s first-ever Taste of Jane and Finch festival debuts on the last Saturday in September.
Presented by Greenwin Inc. and community partners, the new neighbourhood block party promises a showcase of foods from around the world including food trucks dishing out menu items inspired from Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia, and beyond.
Restaurants from the area will celebrate with tasting menus priced at no more than $3 per sample, while entertainment will be provided by Pan Fantasy steel drums, African drumming by SRRA, local musicians, and DJ Kehmal.
