At Bar 244, their slogan is “$3 drinks always,” and they live up to that. This is the spot for bumping music with a bunch of different rooms to let loose.

Not to be confused with Bar 244, this dive bar on College Street is a fave with students on a budget for its menu featuring mixed drinks by the pitcher for just $12.39. Meanwhile, a pitcher of beer is priced between $12 and $14.

Wide Open keeps it fresh with a different deal every night. Forget $5 drinks, this bar is serving $2.75 bar rails every Thursday between 5 pm and 8 pm. On Fridays and Saturdays, there’s $5 bar rails and $15 pitchers, and the list of deals goes on and on.

The Red Room
A classic Chinatown favourite. The Red Room has cheap drinks, all day and every day. Bar rails are only $4.50. If you’re here for the beer, domestic beers are $3.50 while imports are $4.25. You can also visit for sangria specials and budget-friendly eats too.

Going with the no-name brand always provides the best value, and bar drinks follow that thinking. Bar With No Name has $3.75 bar rails and $12 pitchers every Monday and Wednesday, $3.50 bottles on Tuesdays, and $5 tall cans on Thursdays. It’s a perfect spot for those on the west end.

Finding a place to eat and then finding a place to pre-drink doesn’t have to be complicated. You can do both at W Burger Bar. They have delicious burgers with meat ranging from kangaroo to wild boar.
