The Tampered Press is about to open a licensed outpost on Ossington
With warm weather just around the corner, (here’s lookin’ at you, 12°C), Ossington Avenue is about to get a new spot to soak in the sun and get your work done.
The Tampered Press is bringing a fun-loving sibling, coined The Tipsy Tamper, to Ossington and Dundas. The new spot will share space with neighbourhood-staple Man of Kent.

Fret not: Man of Kent will continue to be a neighbourhood hangout after 6 pm. But now, during the day, The Tipsy Tamper will run a cafe workspace that will offer WiFi, outlets, plenty of seating, cafe drinks and liquor.
There will be a selection of rye, bourbon and whiskey, as well as carefully curated season-appropriate wines by the glass, a rotating menu of Left Field Brewery cans, and a few crafted cocktails.

And when weather permits, the spot will open the patio to laptops and socializing, as well as install sliding windows to bring the fresh air indoors.
Owner Caitlin Zannoni has run The Tampered Press on Dundas Street West for nine years as of March 20, which will hopefully be the soft opening of The Tipsy Tamper.
With the rising costs of labour and rent (we know you know), this collaboration will allow both Man of Kent and The Tipsy Tamper to thrive both night and day, and make for another great space to work away from the office.

The Tipsy Tamper will be open seven days a week from 8 am. Watch this space for further details on the upcoming opening.
