It’s time for this year’s home opener, and the Toronto Maple Leafs are throwing a massive tailgate party to celebrate.

According to our favourite hockey team, the viewing party will take place at Maple Leaf Square on Saturday, October 7 at 5 pm.

The free admission party is promising a party alongside thousands of fans, with giveaways, special guests, and a live DJ.

The Leafs play their first game today, Wednesday, October 4 against the Winnipeg Jets in Winnipeg. Saturday marks their first home game, and will be against the New York Rangers. The game starts at 7 pm.
