Peel Regional Police report they are currently looking for a gunman following an afternoon shooting in Mississauga that left one person injured.
Police say they were called to the area of White Clover Way and Mavis Road around 2:38 pm on Tuesday after receiving reports of gunfire.

One person has been reportedly injured as a result of the shooting, however, their injuries are currently unknown.
At this time, nearby YMCA Credit Valley Junior and Happy Hands and Minds Daycare have been placed in hold and secure while police continue to look for the shooter.
