Toronto coffee shop serving outrageous hot chocolate for the holidays
There’s nothing quite as Christmassy as a steaming cup of hot cocoa. And you can count on Toronto cafes to take that treat to the extreme.
Strange Love is serving up exactly that — a hyped-up hot chocolate, — for a limited time this holiday season.
The spot’s Peppermint Loaded Hot Chocolate is a special-edition treat, and it consists of layers upon layers of sweetness.
Rich, roasted marshmallows, and chocolate wafer and shavings are surrounded by a crushed candy cane rim, plus mint, and cherry dust.
Inside your cup, you’ll find an over-66% Dominican chocolate house-made ganache blended with your choice of steamed milk, and topped with a red velvet muffin.
Yeah.

A portion of proceeds from the special drink will go towards Eva’s Initiatives, which helps young people experiencing homelessness access skills and support.
