Brampton Shoppers Drug Mart employee tests positive for COVID-19

More Shoppers Drug Mart locations across Toronto and the GTA have reported employees testing positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

On December 4, a Shoppers Drug Mart location at 10661 Chinguacousy Road in Brampton reported an employee testing positive for COVID-19. They had last worked on December 2.

Another Shoppers Drug Mart, this time at 3975 Jane Street in North York, reported two employees testing positive for COVID-19. The employees had last worked on November 22 and 24.

In Scarborough, an employee at a Shoppers Drug Mart located at 685 McCowan Road tested positive for COVID-19. The last day they had worked was November 30.

In the last week, several more locations across the GTA reported positive cases of COVID-19 among staff members.

In an effort for transparency, Loblaws regularly updates their coronavirus cases reported in stores by province within the last 15 days.

“In addition, we have mandated that our staff and customers wear masks in Extra Foods, Fortinos, Maxi, No Frills, Real Canadian Superstores, and T&T stores across Canada,” said Loblaws.
