If you were driving on Highway 400 today and noticed a questionable smell, don’t worry, it wasn’t you.
According to provincial police, 25,000 litres of sewage waste spilled along a stretch of Highway 400, just north of Vaughan Wednesday morning.
The incident happened in the southbound lanes of the highway near King Road.

Sergeant Kerry Schmidt of the OPP said the spillage blocked the right lane, however, the highway remains open while crews clean up the mess.
