A retro 90s arcade bar is popping up in Toronto next spring

Get ready to level up. Because early next year, a retro, 90s-themed arcade bar will be paying a visit to Toronto.

According to event organizers, the arcade bar will be landing in March 2020. And it’ll be different from any of the others the city has to offer.

“Get ready to be sent back in time to an era where cell phones were the size of bricks and free time was spent trying to beat the previous Pac-Man high score,” says Event Coordinator Jessica Robson.

The pop-up is said to include pop-culture trivia, Dance Dance Revolution, themed cocktails, and plenty of prizes to be won. And that’s not to mention live action games like Human Hungry Hungry Hippos.

How, you ask? We have no idea.

The pop-up will be open to all ages, but minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Although ticket prices have yet to be made public, organizers say admission includes a drink ticket and access to all games on site. There will also be a cash bar.
