It looks like the weather will cooperate just enough for Toronto Raptors fans this evening, as MLSE has announced that they are moving ahead with the viewing party in Jurassic Park.

Following a damp morning, The Weather Network previously said there was a chance of more rain and thunderstorms, that could continue until 8 pm, which would be followed by the chance of showers until 1 am.

The Raptors considered moving the party indoors, at neighbouring Scotiabank Arena, but it appears that outside conditions will be safe.

“The weather forecast supports this decision and we look forward to welcoming fans at 7 pm to watch the Toronto Raptors in Game 6,” MLSE announced in a media release. “We will continue to monitor the weather situation and Scotiabank Arena will be a lightning contingency if conditions impact the safety of our fans prior to tailgate opening at 7 pm.”
