Fresh new uniforms, fresh new hardwood.
A day after a record 133-99 beatdown of the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Toronto Raptors unveiled a brand new look on Friday.
Leaked two weeks ago, the new uniforms are the fourth edition that Toronto will wear on a regular basis. The new black and gold OVO Edition Jersey is unique because it doesn’t say ‘Toronto’ or ‘Raptors’ on it.
Instead, it simply says ‘North’ on a chevron design.
The new look has inspired a facelift for the court at the Air Canada Centre, which is now black and gold, incorporating a subtle chevron design. The ends of the court now display “Welcome Toronto” on it.
