Move over, Vince Carter. You too, Terrence Ross.
DeMar DeRozan stands alone, scoring more points in a single game than any other Raptors player ever.
With fans at the Air Canada Centre chanting “MVP,” DeRozan put up 52 points, en route to a 131-127 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. The win was the Raptors’ 12th home victory in a row.
The three-time NBA All-Star scored the first nine points of the game, finishing the first quarter with 21 points. He became just the third Raptors player to hit the 50-point plateau in overtime.
