PORCHETTA & Co.'s original location set to close permanently this week

It’s a sad day on Dundas West.

Because word has just come out that PORCHETTA & Co., one of the city’s best spots for a mean sammy, will be shuttering its original location at the end of this week.

Come September 28, the eatery at 825 Dundas Street West will sling its final sandwich.

The reason, explained in an Instagram post, is due to the end of the location’s lease.

“When you need your fix please visit one of our other locations. We are located at 545 King St West (Entertainment District), 130 King St West (Exchange Tower), and in Scotiabank Arena where we’re open for every home Leafs & Raptors games,” reads the photo’s caption.

The sandwich spot originated on Dundas West, and has been serving eats to hungry Torontonians and visitors, including the likes of Anthony Bourdain, for over nine years.
