Peel police’s homicide division is investigating the death of a 27-year-old woman at a residence in Brampton.
Officers with the Peel Regional Police were called to a residential area near Eagle Ridge Drive and Bighorn Crescent just after 2 pm on Monday, December 9.
When they arrived, the dead body of a 27-year-old woman was located inside the home.
It was later determined her death was the result of a homicide, according to police.

A 35-year-old male was also found dead inside the residence, but police say his cause of death is still under investigation.
Investigators say they are not seeking any further suspects and their investigation remains ongoing.
