Police investigating possible human remains found in Toronto garbage bin

Toronto police say they are investigating possible human remains discovered in a garbage bin in the city’s north-end on Monday.

Police tweeted they responded to a call for the possible discovery of human remains in the area of Harrison Garden Boulevard and Oakburn Crescent, near Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue, just after 11 am.

The investigation is still ongoing as police remain on scene.
