Two Mississauga men arrested for murder of 14-year-old boy

Two 20-year-old Mississauga men have been arrested and charged with second degree murder after a 14-year-old’s death on Friday.

According to investigators from the Peel Regional Police Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau, the 25th Homicide of 2018 claimed the life of Riley Driver-Martin, who was located on December 7 just before 8 am.

Police found the victim after receiving a call to the park in the area of Lewisham Drive and Truscott Drive.

On Friday, police arrested Nicholas Mahabir and charged him with second degree murder.

On Saturday, an arrest warrant for was issued for Mark Mahabir, who police also identified as a 20 year-old man from Mississauga. On that same day, Mark Mahabir surrendered to Peel Regional Police and was also charged with second degree murder.
