Police say only the driver of the first vehicle remained at the scene.

Police said they are now looking for a “small, light-coloured vehicle with significant front end damage.”

Following the collision, Warden Avenue was closed in both directions from Bridletowne to McNicoll Avenue.

While the area was blocked off, a police cruiser at the scene was struck by another vehicle. One officer, who was in the cruiser at the time, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
