You can dine inside a cozy patio igloo in Toronto next month

Don’t escape the cold this winter, embrace it… by dining in a patio igloo.

You can lean into the culture of cold in style at the InterContinental Toronto Yorkville, where you can dine in heated, transparent igloos that provide warmth and comfort, while still being totally surrounded by the winter elements.

The igloos are expected to open at the end of November, a spokesperson for the InterContinental told Daily Hive, on the Proof Patio at the Yorkville hotspot.

Reservations aren’t yet available, but they’ll become open for booking in early November.

Last year, due to limited seating and high demand, the Proof Patio Igloos had a two-hour seating time limit and were available daily from 4 pm. While it looks like the opening hours will remain the same this year, there’s no word yet on a time limit.

It’s also uncertain whether there will be a special Igloo menu again this year. Last year, the space’s culinary team offered one that was full of warm, comforting dishes.
