Passenger films TTC operator allegedly playing games on phone while driving (VIDEO)

A passenger took a video of a TTC bus driver allegedly using his phone, while driving the vehicle, on Wednesday night.

The rider, Cory Kirk according to his YouTube account, posted the video which appears to show the bus driver playing a game while at a stop light.

Then when the bus resumes to drive the TTC operator can be seen looking down at his phone, continuing to play the game.

According to Kirk, the incident took place on route 75 Sherbourne, around 6:50 pm on March 11.

TTC spokesperson, Stuart Green said that they are aware of the situation and, “looking into it. We will be taking appropriate action.”

Green also added that the public transit system expects that operators drive safely and follow the rules of the road at all times.
