Toronto’s first Osaka-style kushikatsu restaurant is opening soon

A new spot for kushikatsu (AKA kushiage) is coming soon to Toronto!
Joining Toronto’s thriving Little Tokyo district (and situated in close proximity to other popular Japanese chains including Uncle Tetsu and Tsujiri), Kushimaru is an Osaka-style restaurant that will major in an array of meats, vegetables, and fish all skewered, breaded, and deep-fried.

While details on the new restaurant are still scarce, if Kushimaru Toronto is anything like the Kushimaru restaurant in Osaka’s Tempozan Market Place, this place could be an all-you-can-eat affair and offer DIY deep frying right at the table.
