
The Government of Ontario is reporting 64 more coronavirus cases in schools, bringing the total to 308 reported in the province.
In the September 29 update, 37 of the new cases are student-related, seven are staff-related, and 20 are unidentified.
The numbers are reported daily at 10:30 am on the province’s school and childcare centre coronavirus-tracking website.

Of the total cases, 65 are reported in several Toronto schools among students and staff.
Ottawa region schools share the highest amount of total reported confirmed cases with 79.
As for GTA schools, 25 are reported from Brampton, 17 from Mississauga, and 10 from Oakville.

Two schools remain closed due to the ongoing increase in cases reported.
In licensed child care centres, there are now 126 total confirmed cases, as well as 36 centres and 176 homes closed.
