A North York McDonald’s has temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for coronavirus.

The restaurant at 2781 Dufferin Street will reopen once a thorough clean has been completed, the restaurant chain said in a statement.

The infected employee last worked at the restaurant on September 13 from 2 pm to 10 pm. It asked anyone who visited the restaurant during those hours to monitor themselves for symptoms.

All other staff who worked with the sick employee have also been told to isolate at home.

“Maintaining the health and well-being of our crew and guests is our top priority,” McDonald’s said.
