North America’s 50 Best Restaurants to reveal inaugural ranking and here's when to expect the list

Earlier this year, it was revealed that the debut North America’s Best Restaurants list would finally be taking place, and now we finally have the details.
From the organization behind North America’s 50 Best Bars list, the first North America’s 50 Best Restaurants list is set to debut this year, with a grand ceremony in Las Vegas.
The list will be revealed at the Wynn Las Vegas on September 25. Prior to the awards, special announcements will be made about the Champions of Change Award, Art of Hospitality Award, and One To Watch Award, honouring the achievements of individuals and establishments.

The ranking is based on the dining experiences of 300 expert voters, including chefs, restaurateurs, journalists, educators, and gourmets. To prevent lobbying, the voters will remain anonymous.
Voters are recruited by Academy chairs across eight sub-regions: the Caribbean (excluding Cuba and Dominican Republic), U.S. Northeast, U.S. South, U.S. Midwest, U.S. West, Canada East, Canada Mid-East, and Canada West.
Voters will name their top eight restaurant experiences over the last two years, and the votes are confidential and carried out on a secure site. Academy chairs, who are not anonymous, can also vote, but their votes don’t carry any extra weight.
There is no entry cost for restaurants, and all restaurant styles are eligible.
With 15 Canadian establishments making the list of North America’s best bars last month, here’s hoping for even more recognition.
