Niagara Parks is hosting captivating pop-up dinners this year (VIDEO)
If you’ve been craving a meal in one of Ontario’s most beautiful places, you’re in luck.
Because Niagara Parks is bringing back its pop-up dinner series this year.
Showcasing the picturesque settings and sites found all along the Niagara River corridor, the 2019 series features locally inspired menus prepared by Niagara Parks chefs.
And, because you know you’ll be thirsty, you can look forward to local craft beer and VQA wine pairings.

The pop-up series has been around since spring of 2017, and it’s since expanded to include fall and winter events as well. This year’s run begins with a sold-out event on May 30, but don’t despair: there’s plenty of space for you at the upcoming dinners.
On Saturday, July 20, the series will head to Niagara-on-the-Lake for an evening at the McFarland HouseĀ ā one of the area’s oldest homes.
And if a cooler evening is more your speed, you can attend on Thursday, September 19. This instalment coincides with Niagara Parksā annual event series, Rooted, which features a number of nature and garden-themed workshops, special events and programming across Niagara Park.
Each dinner event is built on the foundation of showcasing local food.
The innovative, mouth-watering dishes are a tribute to the exquisite food and drink sourced from farms and purveyors across the Niagara region and the rest of Ontario (where good things grow).
And at these events, you’ll have the chance to learn something too. Each dinner will feature a discussion with Niagara Parks experts, and community partners who are knowledgable on the food and drinks you’ll be enjoying.

Living in the city, though exciting, can make you feel slightly removed from the natural world. These dinners serve as a perfect opportunity to get grounded.
