Getting to and from Toronto is about to get easier.
On Tuesday, Transportation Minister Jeff Yurek announced a new express GO Train service on the Lakeshore East line that will offer riders travelling from Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax, and Pickering more options.
The new service starts on Wednesday, April 17.
“Ontario’s government is putting people first by investing in public transit to shorten commutes and get people moving faster, so that they can spend more time on what matters most to them,” Yurek said.
