TTC rolling out more of its new streetcars on 501 Queen route starting today
Transit riders who take the 501 Queen route on weekdays will start noticing more streetcars in service as the TTC is rolling out additional low-floor streetcars starting today.
According to the TTC, there will be five more low-floor streetcars operating on 501 Queen each weekday.
“About one in every three streetcars will be low-floor between Humber and Neville Park,” said the TTC in a tweet.

TTC spokesperson Stuart Green told Daily Hive Queen Street is the next route for the streetcar roll-out.
“As new cars arrive, more are deployed,” said Green, adding, “There will be more on Queen over the coming days and weeks until the route is converted.”
Good news for Queen Street commuters.
