Police looking for missing 16-year-old girl and dog

Update Saturday, February 1, 2020: Police say the missing girl has been found. 

Toronto police are looking for a missing 16-year-old girl and dog, who were last seen in the Stittsville suburb area of Ottawa but may now be in the city.

The 16-year-old was reportedly last seen on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at about 3 pm. According to police, she has a black labrador-mix dog with her, and she’s often in the following areas in Toronto:

– King Street East and Jarvis Street
– Yonge Street and Gerrard Street East
– Kennedy Road and St. Clair Avenue

She is described as 5’4″, 95 lbs., with a slim build and long brown hair.

Police say that she may be using shelters in Toronto, and they are concerned for her safety.
