A 50-year-old man has been charged with careless driving following an accident involving a truck and a vehicle earlier this month.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police, the incident took place on January 13, and the driver of the construction truck, a man from Whitby, has been charged.
Following the incident, the OPP said they had identified the drivers involved in the frightening collision caught on camera on the 401.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt confirmed were no injuries following the accident at the time.

“No injuries to either driver, the truck driver claims he was unaware of the car,” he wrote after the incident.
