Chicken broth ramen restaurant replacing Toronto nitrogen ice cream shop

It looks like it’s out with the cold and in with the cozy this winter as a new, noodle-based eatery gears up to take over an ice cream parlour on Queen Street West.

Midori Ramen, which specializes in chicken broth ramen, will be taking over the space at 412 Queen West in January. Which means that Cool N2, the nitrogen ice cream shop that currently lives at the address, will soon be no longer.

One of the new restaurant’s chefs is also behind Guu Izakaya, a favourite for small Japanese bites, sake, and beer in the city.

If the success of Guu is any indication of how well-received Midori Ramen will be, it’s safe to say this spot is one to get excited about.

Get ready to get cozy.
