According to law enforcement, a Toronto man, Sergio Bahamonde, 25, has been charged in a child luring investigation.
Bahamonde is accused of luring a 15-year-old child online via a social media application, threatened and extorted the child, and also distributed, possessed and accessed child sexual abuse material. He also allegedly used two different online identities: “jd_psinoiz” and “Zionis Roman.”

He is charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, access to child pornography, distribution of child pornography, extortion, threaten bodily harm, threaten death, luring a child via telecommunication, and attempt to make child pornography.
The charge comes following a search warrant in the Bathurst Street and Wilson Avenue area that the Toronto Police executed on Friday, May 24.
Bahamonde is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, May 27 at 10 am at 1000 Finch Avenue West.
