After a successful pilot in Washington, DC and a recent expansion to Atlanta, GA, Lyft’s Grocery Access Program will be expanding to Toronto this year.
The new program, which provides local families with $2.50 Lyft Shared rides to grocery stores in their area, is a part of Lyft’s City Works initiative. Ultimately, the ride-share program aims to maximize positive impact across North America through partnerships with its community of drivers, riders, local activists and city leaders.
