Presented by Toben Food By Design, Lǚkè, Mandarin for traveller, was thought up while the spot’s chefs were adventuring through Asia. Inspired by the cuisine, they returned to Toronto and crafted a series of dishes that will transport you to new places.

“This pop-up will be based around the ‘greatest hits’ that we have explored both abroad and here in our own city,” said Toben Kochman, Co-Founder and Executive Chef of Toben, in a press release.
This dining series, popping up at 150 Symes Road, offers guests an introduction to various traditional and home-cooked meals they loved while travelling across Asia. Besides enjoying the flavours of food made with rare and fresh ingredients, count on playful and social food sharing, too.
“The idea behind ‘communal’ or family style dining is to promote the social and playful aspects of food,” Kochman said.
